Esquire debuts its initial men’s perfumes with Michael Malul.

Esquire, a men’s media brand, has released its first fragrance line in conjunction with fragrance company Michael Malul, which was handled by licensing firm IMG.

The four new perfumes honor Esquire’s rich literary past and prominent contributors, ranging from F. Scott Fitzgerald and E. E. Cummings to current journalistic icons like as Tom Wolfe and the magazine’s several editors-in-chief.

This inspired the titles of the first four new scents: American Novelist, Modern Poet, New Journalist, and Editor in Chief.

Esquire’s editor-in-chief, Michael Sebastian, said in a statement: “Our readers have an insatiable desire for tales about men’s scent and grooming. We’ve been talking about creating men’s scents for years.

“After the successful introduction of our jewellery collection, this seemed like the ideal moment to do it. It’s the inevitable next step in developing things that would appeal to our audience.”

American Novelist is characterized as an ambery, warm scent with bergamot, leather, and cedar, whilst Modern Poet has a “herbal, dreamy, green fragrance” with notes of matcha, gin, and patchouli.

New Journalist is a blue, aquatic, “approachable fragrance” with notes of apple leaf, blue lavender, and sandalwood, while Editor in Chief covers the darker side of the fragrance wheel with a powerful and spicy perfume with notes of clove, labdanum, and tonka bean.

Hanan Malul, chief executive officer of Michael Malul, adding, “Working with Esquire on this fragrance line has been enjoyable from beginning to end.

“We had the pleasure of delving into Esquire’s remarkable history and exciting journey, bringing it to life via perfumes. The end outcome is something incredibly exceptional that we’re delighted for people to see.

Each smell is available in 100ml bottles for 117 pounds / 120 US dollars on Michael Malul’s website before being released on Amazon and other major stores in the United States.

Esquire intends to introduce other perfumes to the line “over the next few years.”
